Former Woman Leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Bende Local Government Area, Lady Ozochi Lynda popularly known as Jany Lily—has officially joined the Labour Party.
Her defection took place on Thursday during the Labour Party’s ward meeting in Bende Ward, Bende LGA of Abia State ahead of the Inauguration of Abia Arise executives by Governor Alex Otti.
A well-known grassroots mobilizer with a strong presence in the local political landscape, Lady Lynda is expected to bring significant value to the Labour Party as it continues to strengthen its base in the area.
Party members and supporters welcomed her warmly, expressing optimism that her entrance will boost the party’s visibility and influence in Bende.
