The Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC) has invited leaders of all registered political parties, traditional rulers, security agencies, religious bodies, the media, professional organizations, civil society groups, non-governmental organizations, community-based groups, and the general electorate to a general stakeholders meeting.
According to a notice signed by the Chairman and Chief Electoral Commissioner, Dr. Michael Ekpali Odey, the meeting is scheduled to hold on Monday, 28th July, 2025 at the RSIEC Headquarters, 239-243 Aba Road, Port Harcourt by 2:00 pm prompt.
The key highlight of the meeting will be the official unveiling of the revised timetable and guidelines for the 2025 Local Government Elections in Rivers State.
All concerned stakeholders are urged to be seated at the RSIEC Auditorium by 2:00 pm.
This meeting marks a significant step in ensuring transparent and credible local government elections in the state.
