The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has clarified that former President Goodluck Jonathan remains a member of the party.
The National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Debo Ologunagba, stated this on Thursday during an interview on Politics Today, a Channels Television programme.
“Goodluck Jonathan is still a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. He has not resigned.
“There are two ways to leave a party. Either you resign or you are removed. But till date, Jonathan has not done any of these.
“He’s a member of the party and we expect him to be at the PDP convention coming forth in Ibadan, Oyo State,” Ologunagba said.
