The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Thursday, referred to former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, as his younger brother.
Wike made the remark during the flag-off ceremony for the construction of Collector Road CN2 (Emmanuel I. Ogala Street) from Arterial N16 (Yemi Osinbajo Way) to N20 (Wole Soyinka Way), including Road ILS 5 within the Katampe District of Abuja.
“Fayose is my younger brother, and I’m always happy anytime he comes to witness what his elder brother is doing,” Wike said.
Both Wike and Fayose are members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and were part of the G-5 Integrity Group, which opposed the presidential bid of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar during the 2023 general election.
