Social media commentator Emmanuel Obruste, popularly known as Geh Geh, has said former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi cannot defeat President Bola Tinubu even in a free and fair election.
In a video that has generated reactions online, Geh Geh attributed his position to what he described as weak political coordination on Obi’s part ahead of the 2027 general election.
According to him, although Obi is widely regarded by supporters as a visionary leader, questions remain about his strategic positioning and readiness for the next presidential race.
The commentator argued that the absence of a clearly defined and entrenched political structure could pose a significant obstacle to Obi’s chances.
He also claimed that many Nigerians remain uncertain about Obi’s current party alignment and the strength of his grassroots base, stressing that clarity on these issues would be crucial as 2027 approaches.
“Peter Obi can never beat Tinubu and I’ll give four reasons. Number one, he does not have structure. Peter Obi does not have structure. He na leader wey get vision but he no get path on how to reach that vision. Many people up till now never know the political party where Peter dey,” he said.
