Pep Guardiola is reportedly set to leave Manchester City at the end of the current season, according to reports by the Daily Mail.
The Spanish manager is expected to conclude his decade long spell at the Etihad Stadium this weekend, with Sunday’s Premier League fixture against Aston Villa likely to be his final game in charge.
Since arriving at Manchester City, Guardiola has overseen one of the most successful periods in the club’s history, winning a total of 20 trophies.
His achievements include six Premier League titles, among them an unprecedented run of four consecutive league triumphs, as well as guiding City to their first UEFA Champions League title.
This season alone, Guardiola led the club to victories in both the Carabao Cup and FA Cup competitions.
Reports also indicate that Manchester City have begun informing commercial and sponsorship partners that an official announcement regarding Guardiola’s departure could be made imminently.
