The presidency has criticised the presidential candidate of the Nigerian Democratic Congress, NDC, Peter Obi, over his recent media interview.
Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Media and Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, made the remarks in a post on his verified X handle on Wednesday.
Bwala was reacting to Obi’s interview with journalist Oseni Rufai on Tuesday, during which the former Anambra State governor reportedly said he would not disclose detailed plans on addressing Nigeria’s electricity challenges.
He wrote, “This is the bold vision of Peter Obi as expressed by himself on a podcast interview.
Have you taken your time to listen to his interview on a platform of his own unofficial spokesman? Even with the leading questions the guy no fit perform,” Bwala said.
During the interview, Obi also stated that if elected President of Nigeria, he would engage in negotiations with agitators from different regions of the country as part of efforts to address national tensions.
