Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has declared his support for the All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate in the state, Kingsley Chinda.
The governor also endorsed President Bola Tinubu for a second term in office and announced that he has joined the Rainbow Coalition, a political alliance led by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.
Fubara made the announcement on Wednesday during the groundbreaking and foundation laying ceremony of the Rivien Medical Industry project in Rumuosi, Obio Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Addressing his supporters at the event, the governor urged them to follow his political direction by joining the Rainbow Coalition.
“I am supporting President Tinubu for the Presidency and OK Chinda to be the next Governor of Rivers State.
“I am part of the Rainbow Coalition, and I’m back to my political family,” the governor said.
