Lagos State Special Offences Court has granted controversial Nigerian relationship expert, Blessing CEO, N20 million bail in an alleged N69.15 million property fraud case.
The court granted the bail on Thursday, about six weeks after she was remanded at Kirikiri Correctional Centre.
Justice Rahman Oshodi also ordered the Nigerian Immigration Service, NIS, to enforce travel restrictions placed on her pending the determination of the case.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, had on June 9, 2026, arraigned Blessing CEO over allegations that she fraudulently obtained N69.15 million from Hope Chiropractic Health Clinic Limited.
The anti graft agency alleged that the money was obtained under the claim that she would secure a lease for a property in the Lekki area of Lagos in March 2025.
She was charged with two counts bordering on obtaining money by false pretences and stealing, but pleaded not guilty to the allegations.
In his ruling, Justice Oshodi granted her bail with two sureties in the same amount. The judge also ordered each surety to provide proof of three year deposits valued at N20 million.
The court adjourned the matter until October 12, 2026, for continuation of trial.
