The IYOM Ugwueke, the umbrella body of all women in Ugwueke Community, Bende Local Government Area of Abia State, has reaffirmed its support for the Labour Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency, Dr. Chima Anyaso, appreciating him for his continued support and commitment to the people.
The women made the declaration on Saturday while receiving him during their August Meeting as one of their invited guest.
As a demonstration of their appreciation, the women presented Dr. Anyaso with a giant goat, describing the gesture as a token of gratitude for his consistent support and goodwill towards the community.
The women expressed appreciation for the relationship they have maintained with Dr. Anyaso, noting that his interventions and continued engagement with the people have not gone unnoticed.
The IYOM Ugwueke further vowed to stand firmly by Dr. Anyaso as political activities ahead of the 2027 Bende Federal Constituency election gather momentum.
Receiving the gift, Dr. Anyaso expressed appreciation to the women for the thoughtful gesture and reaffirmed his commitment to the people of Ugwueke and the wider Bende Federal Constituency.
