The National Executive Council of the OK Movement has met with the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, presidential candidate, Peter Obi, reaffirming its commitment to securing victory for the party in the 2027 general elections.

The meeting, held on Wednesday, focused on the movement’s mobilisation activities and its role in the NDC presidential campaign.

The delegation was led by the Director General of the movement, Hon. John Ughulu, alongside other national and zonal leaders.

Those present included the National Secretary, Saadatu Mohammed Sanni; National Director of Administration and Human Resources, Mrs Aisha Aliyu Abdulrahman; and National Director of Operations, Hon. Francis Nnodi.

Others were the Director of Mobilisation and Outreach, Rev. Victor Ekam; and zonal coordinators Chris Elijah for the South South, Adefolaseye Adebayo for the South West, and Alhaji Sulaiman Abubakar for the North Central.

During the meeting, the National Executive Council and zonal coordinators reaffirmed their support for the Obi Kwankwaso ticket and pledged to intensify grassroots mobilisation, coordination and voter engagement across the country.

The leaders also expressed their determination to work towards securing victory for Obi and his running mate, Rabi’u Kwankwaso, under the NDC platform.

“The mission is clear. The commitment is unwavering. NDC all the way,” they said.

The OK Movement is a support group established around the political aspirations of Peter Obi and Rabi’u Kwankwaso ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The OK Movement’s renewed pledge gives Obi and Kwankwaso an organised grassroots base, while its electoral impact will depend on whether its mobilisation reaches voters beyond existing supporters.
