The law Office of Ugonma Chambers ,one of the lawyers handling the petition of the Governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) Chief Okey Ahiwe has been burgled while the burglars were searching for sensitive Tribunal Files.
N.B Ugo Esq. Of the Ugonma Chambers located at No 49 Marculay Street Umuahia the Abia State Capital was the lawyer who wrote to the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) over the membership register of the Labour Party in Abia State.
PUO Reports that INEC in their reply confirmed that Labour Party did not comply with Section 77 of the 2022 electoral act.
The Burglars who broke into his chambers were searching to cart away documents being used at the Governorship election Petition Tribunal sitting in Umuahia where the PDP is challenging the declaration of Dr Alex Otti as the Governor of Abia State.
