Guiseppe Galderisi, a former forward for Italy, thought Napoli would have trouble finding a replacement for Victor Osimhen should he leave the team this summer.
At the end of the current season, Osimhen is anticipated to depart from the former Serie A champions.
The 25-year-old, who scored 26 goals in 32 league games, was a key player in Napoli’s Scudetto victory the previous season.
The Nigerian international has missed several games because of injuries and international service, but he has already scored 15 goals this season.
According to Galderisi, Osimhen is special and finding a comparable successor would be challenging.
“He (Osimhen) always makes the right move. He has Characteristics that I don’t see around Europe. You find another Osimhen, he commands respect in the penalty area,” Galderisi quoted by Calcio Napoli.
