Concerns about growing food prices and insecurity in Nigeria have been voiced by the Forum of Former Deputy Governors of Nigeria.

Among other issues, the Forum lamented the country’s fluctuating exchange rate and corruption.

Dr. Chris Akomas, a former deputy governor of Abia State, provided journalists in Umuahia with a statement outlining the previous deputy governors’ positions.

Innovative solutions should be used to achieve food security and promote sustainable growth in the nation, according to the group that claimed to be rallying support for strategic solutions for good governance.

The Forum of Former Deputy Governors is holding a conference in Abuja to address Nigeria’s economic problems, according to Akomas, the group’s chairman.
