The House of Representatives Member Representing Isiukwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency at the House of Representative Hon Amobi Ogah has declined inclusion into the Campaign Council of the Zenith Labour Party(ZLP) as the Chairman of Campaign Council for Isiukwuato Local Government Area.

In a withdrawal letter addressed to the Chairmanship Candidate of the Zenith Labour Party in Isiukwuato Local Government Area Comrade Chinedu Ekeke and his Deputy Mr Ifeanyi Njoko , the lawmaker he is a member of the Labour Party and cannot campaign for Zenith Labour Party ahead of the upcoming Local Government election in Abia State.

“I wish to use this medium to inform you that I read the inclusion of my name as the Chairman of your campaign council under Zenith Labour Party in the forthcoming LGA elections for Isuikwuato LGA. I appreciate your believe in me to lead this onerous task”

“Regrettably, be informed that I cannot champion this cause due to the following reasons; ‘I am holding the mandate of the people of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency under Labour Party’

“The State Government under the leadership of His Excellency, Dr Alex Chioma Otti OFR has not officially directed support for Zenith Labour Party (ZLP)”

“Accept my withdrawal in good faith and best of lucks to your aspirations.
The inconveniences caused by my withdrawal to you and other members of the council is highly regrettable”he stated
