Renowned businessman and philanthropist, Chief Kelvin Jombo, has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Evangelist Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai, describing his passing as a monumental loss to the world, the Church, and humanity at large.
Chief Jombo, while speaking during the visit, noted that Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai was not just a preacher of the gospel but a divine instrument used mightily by God to touch lives across nations. He commended the late evangelist’s lifelong dedication to the propagation of the gospel, humanitarian services, and his unwavering faith, which inspired countless believers around the world.
He further stated that the vacuum left by the passing of Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai would be difficult to fill, as he lived a life wholly committed to God’s work and to the upliftment of humanity.
Chief Jombo prayed for God’s comfort upon the bereaved family, the Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association, and all those mourning the revered servant of God. He encouraged them to find solace in the fact that Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai lived a fulfilled life devoted to service, faith, and the salvation of souls.
“The world has lost a rare gem, but heaven has gained a saint,” Chief Jombo concluded.
