The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, on Thursday hosted delegates of the Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, at his residence in Abuja.
Among those in attendance were Victor Giadom, who recently retained his position as APC National Vice Chairman for the South South, as well as senators, members of the House of Representatives, and the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Martins Amaewhule.
Other participants included state assembly members and prominent APC stakeholders from Rivers State.
The meeting comes shortly after the APC South South Zonal Congress held in Asaba, Delta State, where Giadom was reelected to his position.
At the same congress, Samuel Nwanosike was elected as the South South Zonal Publicity Secretary.
