Onuigbo Congratulates Nwankpa, Ogbonnaya on Election into APC National, Zonal Offices

A member of the Governing Board of the North East Development Commission (NEDC), Sam Onuigbo, has congratulated Hon. Chief Donatus Nwankpa on his election as the National Welfare Secretary of the All Progressives Congress.

Onuigbo described Nwankpa’s emergence through the electoral process as well-deserved, noting that it reflects his loyalty, dedication, and years of service to the party. He expressed confidence that Nwankpa’s experience and grassroots connection would strengthen the party’s welfare structure nationwide.

He also extended congratulations to Barrister Chimamkpam Kenneth Ogbonnaya on his election and inauguration as the APC South-East Zonal Youth Leader. According to him, the outcome underscores the confidence party members have in Ogbonnaya’s capacity to mobilize, inspire, and effectively represent the youth constituency in the region.

While urging both leaders to remain steadfast, inclusive, and visionary in their new roles, Onuigbo emphasized the importance of their contributions to party unity, growth, and sustained progress.

The lawmaker further commended the successful conduct of the APC National Congress, describing it as peaceful and transparent, and a clear demonstration of the party’s internal cohesion. He praised the National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda, and the Congress Organizing Committee for their professionalism and commitment to a credible process.

Onuigbo also acknowledged the leadership of Benjamin Kalu, noting his efforts in strengthening the APC’s structure and unity in Abia State.

He equally lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for providing direction and ensuring stability and progressive growth within the party.

He concluded by wishing the newly elected party officials success in their respective assignments.
