The United States and Israel have carried out fresh strikes on Iran, targeting the Mobarakeh Steel Company, the country’s largest steel producer and one of the biggest in the region.

In a statement on Thursday, the company’s public relations office confirmed that operations have been completely shut down following the attacks, citing extensive damage to key production units.

According to the statement, all production lines have been halted, and employees have been instructed to stay away from the facility until further notice.

The attack reportedly resulted in at least one fatality, while 16 others sustained injuries.

In response, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps IRGC said it had launched retaliatory strikes on United States and Israeli industrial targets within the region.

“We had warned that if Iranian industries were attacked again, we would destroy the Zionist regime and American industries located in the region,” the IRGC said in a statement.
