Former Speaker of the 7th Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Engr. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, FNSE, FNICE, FNITHE, has formally declared his intention to contest for the Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives ahead of the 2027 general elections on the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC).
The former Speaker made this declaration while addressing a large number of supporters who paid him a Good Friday visit in Umuahia. He said his decision followed his quest to offer his services to the people of Ikwuano/ Umuahia federal constituency.
“I am deeply moved by the confidence you have reposed in me and the belief that together, we can build a constituency that works for all. Having had the privilege to serve before at the State Assembly, I understand the demands of leadership and the urgency of delivering results that truly impact lives,” he stated.
“I therefore offer myself once again, not just as an aspirant, but as a voice committed to development and the advancement of our people through quality representation at the National Assembly,” Orji added.
