Popular Nigerian music star Burna Boy has challenged fellow artiste Wizkid to a physical confrontation following a heated exchange between both camps.
The development comes shortly after Wizkid accused Burna Boy and his associates of physically assaulting DJ Tunez at a Lagos nightclub for allegedly refusing to play his songs.
Burna Boy had earlier reacted by claiming he was solely responsible for confronting the DJ.
In a viral video circulating online, the Grammy winning singer escalated the situation by daring Wizkid to settle the dispute physically, while downplaying his influence on social media.
“Wizkid come go dey tweet. Na internet their own power dey. We na real life our own power dey. I thought DJ Tunez go call his oga, and his oga go do something or send people but na tweet Wizkid con dey tweet,” he said.
DJ Tunez is widely known as Wizkid’s official disc jockey, and the incident has further intensified tensions between the two prominent figures in Nigeria’s music industry.
