Arsenal FC have officially been crowned champions of the 2025 and 2026 Premier League season following Manchester City’s 1-1 draw against AFC Bournemouth on Tuesday night.

Manchester City needed a victory to keep the title race alive heading into the final round of fixtures, but the result confirmed Arsenal as champions with one game remaining.

Kroupi Junior gave Bournemouth the lead with a curling strike beyond goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Despite creating several opportunities, City struggled to convert their chances throughout the match.

David Brooks missed two clear opportunities to extend Bournemouth’s advantage before Erling Haaland eventually scored a late equaliser for Guardiola’s side.

The outcome leaves City unable to close the gap on Arsenal at the top of the table.

Arsenal are expected to receive the Premier League trophy during Sunday’s fixture against Crystal Palace FC.
