David Brooks missed two clear opportunities to extend Bournemouth’s advantage before Erling Haaland eventually scored a late equaliser for Guardiola’s side.
The outcome leaves City unable to close the gap on Arsenal at the top of the table.
Arsenal are expected to receive the Premier League trophy during Sunday’s fixture against Crystal Palace FC.
