The Chairman/CEO of Caades Group and Labour Party Candidate for Bende Federal Constituency, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso (OFUJI), has emphasized that strong families remain the bedrock of every prosperous society, describing the family as God’s first institution and humanity’s greatest legacy.
Dr. Anyaso made the assertion while delivering a Special Address titled “The Family: God’s First Institution and Our Greatest Legacy” at the 19th Anniversary Celebration of the Singles and Married International Fellowship, tagged “The Rehoboth Experience: 19 Years of God’s Faithfulness,” held at the Rehoboth Auditorium, Umuekwule, Umuopara, Umuahia.
Addressing ministers of the Gospel, traditional Christian leaders, families and guests, Dr. Anyaso congratulated the President of the Singles and Married International Fellowship, Pastor Dr. Chioma Ibezim, and the ministry for nineteen years of transforming lives, restoring families and advancing the Gospel of Christ.
He noted that the ministry’s consistent investment in family values and Christian living has continued to impact lives across generations, praying that its greatest accomplishments are still ahead.
Reflecting on the true meaning of success, Dr. Anyaso said genuine fulfillment is not measured by wealth, political office, influence or material possessions, but by the number of lives positively transformed.
“A man’s greatest achievement is not what he owns, but the lives he transforms. Money can disappear, businesses may rise and fall, political offices come and go, but every life you touch for Christ and every family you help to build becomes an eternal investment,” he said.
The philanthropist explained that this philosophy inspired the establishment of the Chima Anyaso Foundation, which has over the years invested in education, healthcare, scholarships, youth and women empowerment, humanitarian interventions, community development, support for widows, entrepreneurship and church projects.
Dr. Anyaso also highlighted the 2020 Couples Group, an initiative founded by him and his wife to strengthen young marriages through mentorship, fellowship, prayer and mutual support.
According to him, the initiative was conceived after observing the increasing challenges confronting many young families and the absence of mentorship structures for newly married couples.
He stressed that strong families ultimately produce strong communities and, by extension, strong nations.
“The family was God’s first institution before government, before business and before politics. If we lose our families, we eventually lose our society. Everything begins at home,” he stated.
Speaking on his aspiration to represent Bende Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Dr. Anyaso said politics should never be viewed merely as a platform for acquiring power but as an opportunity to serve humanity and restore hope.
He pledged to uphold values of humility, honesty, transparency, integrity and fairness in public service, maintaining that leadership founded on character becomes a blessing to generations.
“As many of you know, I have offered myself to serve the good people of Bende Federal Constituency. Politics should be about service, improving lives, promoting justice and restoring hope,” he said.
Dr. Anyaso concluded by urging parents to prioritize raising children with faith, integrity, love and sound moral values, describing character as the greatest inheritance parents can leave for future generations.
He prayed for God’s blessings upon marriages, families and the leadership of the ministry, while asking God to continue using the Singles and Married International Fellowship for greater impact in the years ahead.
The event, themed “From Seven to Nations: Celebrating 19 Years of Divine Faithfulness,” commemorated the ministry’s remarkable journey from a seven-member fellowship established in 2007 to an international ministry impacting lives, families and communities across nations.
The celebration featured thanksgiving, worship, ministrations by Gospel Artist Chioma Jesus.
The Wife of the Governor Mrs Priscilla Otti was represented by the Commissioner of Women Affairs Dr. Mrs. Maureen Ijeoma Aghukwa, while the the President of Masters Energy Dr Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah was among top dignitaries that graced the occasion.
