Late Daughter Of Assemblies Of God Nigeria General Treasurer Oluwakemi Victoria Merayebu (Nee Alaje) was today laid to rest in her husband’s Family Compound In Okitipupa Ondo State.
The Interment Service was conducted at Assemblies Of God Church No 50 Lebi Street Okitipupa Ondo State.
In his brief testimony the husband of the deceased Mr Isaac Merayebu Jnr who was also attached alongside his wife at their Flat in Enugu said the vacuum created by the demise of his wife will be too hard to fill.
“From the first day I met her, I know it was divine” “The Night to our attack, we had a glorious night Together” Kemi you have left a vacuum that no one will ever Fill”. He stated while in tears.
The General Superintendent,Assemblies Of God Nigeria Rev Dr Chidi Okoroafor said those who carried out the attack had only one option which is repentance
“Let the perpetrators Repent,else they won’t escape the wrath of the Lord” “We do not know who,but God Knows,our Consolation is that she died a Saint “
The Assistant General Superintendent Rev Ejikeme Ejim who delivered the message said is very painful for parents to burial their Wards.
Speaking from the book of John Chapter 11:1-46 on the Topic “Even Jesus wept ” Rev Ejim said the reason for the comforter was because we need to be comforted.
In his prayer for the family, a retired Executive Committee member Rev Godwin Idogo prayed God to give both the Merayebu And Alajes families the fortitude to bear the loss.
