19 members out of 27 of Imo House of assembly have today Monday July 30th 2018 , at exactly 4..52pm impeached the Deputy Governor Prince Eze Mmadumere .
Madumere and Okorocha fell apart of his 2019 Governorship ambition.
Head of service Calistus Ekenze is now the New Deputy Governor.
According to the Speaker of the House, the impeachment was pursuant to the recommendations of the seven man panel set up by the Chief judge of the state who according to him, recommended that he be impeached for gross misconduct and abandonment of office.
Eze Madumere had gone to court to stop his impeachment but while the suit was pending, he was impeached.
Eze Madumere wants to be governor but Rochas wants his own son in law to Governor.
