Senator Mao Ohuabunwa Make Case Over Isiukwuato Erosion

The Senator representing Abia North at the National Assembly, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa today moved a motion at the floor of the Senate on the erosion menace that has cutoff Oguduasa community and other parts of Isuikwuato in Abia north Senatorial District.
Reading the motion at the floor of the Senate today, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa elaborated the hardship and difficulties that the people of Abia North is facing as a results of the erosion menace that has been disturbing the Five (5) LGAs of Abia North.

Senator Mao also brought to the notice of the National Assembly the need to rehabilitate the site as the road is the major road that connects the entire Abia North with other parts of the state and indeed other neighboring states such as Ebonyi and Enugu states.

Senator Mao prayed that the Senate should set up a Committee to visit the site to see the level of damages at the site and asked the Senate to do something before it will be too late.

Supporting the motion that was moved by our own Workaholic Senator, The Senator representing Anambra North, Senator Stella Oduah stated that it has become imperative for The National Assembly to compel the Federal ministry of Works to take urgent step in rehabilitating the erosion sites that has been ravaging many parts of South Eastern Nigeria..
