As normalcy has returned to troubled Chikun Local Government area of Kaduna State, the Kaduna State Government has lifted the dusk to dawn curfew in Maraban Rido and Kujama communities areas of the state with immediate effect.
In a statement by Senior Special Assistant to Governor Nasir Elrufai on Media and Publicity, Mr. Samuel Aruwan, on Monday evening said, residents of these communities were now free to go about their lawful businesses at all hours of the day.
“A government statement also disclosed that the 6pm to 6am curfew is still in force in the entire Kajuru local government area. The security agencies will continue to enforce the curfew in Kajuru LGA until further notice.
“Government appeals to all communities to continue to do their utmost to preserve peace and harmony,” the statement added.
