Rivers State Governor Barrister Nyesom Wike has opted out from the understanding he reached with Daar Communications Plc owners of Africa Independent Television and Ray Power Fm on the marketting of his image and that of his Government.
Recall that the Africa Independent Television was used by Governor Nyesom Wike during and after the 2015 general elections especially as it Regards to ,tarnishing the Image of his former Boss now Minister of Transportation Rt Hon Chibuike Amaechi.
Some Top Staff of AIT who were led by its Group Managing Director Dokpesi and Imoni Amanere on July 2015 openly appreciated Governor Wike for his partnership during the 2015 electioneering period.
The Understanding between Governor Nyesom Wike and the Africa Independent Television ran into Billions of Naira as the Station was used to present Chibuike Amaechi as a corrupt politician during his travails in the hands of the Senate, immediately after President Muhammadu Buhari presented his name as a Ministerial nominee.
