The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) candidate Hon Martins Amaewhule as winner of the Obioakpor Constituency 1 State Rerun.
Martins Amaewhule polled 9,703 votes to defeat Hon Collins Ordu of the All Progressive Congress who polled 4,078 votes to come second
