While other Nigerians are Celebrating Christmas in their various homes, the Director of Radio Biafra Mr Nnamdi Kanu is spending his 2015 Christmas in the custody of the Department of State Security Services.

Nnamdi Kanu who was arrested on the 19 October 2015 in a lagos hotel has been in the custody of the Department of State Security Services despite two court orders regarding his release from detention.
Kanu caused panic within and outside Nigeria with his broadcast on Radio Biafra which the Nigerian government has since declared illegal.
The DSS had accused Nnamdi Kanu of attempt to forcefully seize some part of Nigeria in his quest for seccession from the Nigerian State.

Despite the protests by members of the Indigenous People of Biafra concerning his continuous detention, the Nigerian government seems committed in spending Nnamdi Kanu to Jail
