The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has nullified the election of The Lawmaker Representing Eleme Constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly Hon Josiah Johnson Olu.

Josiah Olu was the only Lawmaker elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress during the April 11 Governorship and State House of Assembly election in Rivers State.

Isaac Khamalu of the Peoples Democratic Party had approached the Court of Appeal after the Rivers State Governorship election petition tribunal ruled in favour of the APC Lawmaker.
Delivering its judgement today, the Appeal court nullified election in four Wards out of the ten Wards which made up the Constituency.
The court ordered INEC to conduct a fresh election in the affected Wards within 60days
