A Two Term Chairman of Ahoada East Local Government Area in
Rivers State High. Chief Cassidy Ikegbidi has assured the Governorship
candidate of the All Progresive Congress(APC) Dr.Dakuku Adol Peterside of
continued support from the people of Orashi Region in his bid to pilot the affairs

REPORTS in his Ihugbogo Country home stated that the nullification of the
April 11 governorship election in Rivers State by the Rivers State governorship
election petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja was a clear indication that the
People of Rivers State were not allowed to vote by thugs working fo the Peoples
Democratic Party(PDP) in Rivers State.
REPORTS in his Ihugbogo Country home stated that the nullification of the
April 11 governorship election in Rivers State by the Rivers State governorship

Democratic Party(PDP) in Rivers State.
“I am very happy that even the Tribunal has vindicated our
cries after the Resident Electoral Commisioner in Rivers State Dame Gesilah
Khan delivered the hatchet job she was contracted to do here in Rivers State,by
the nullification of the election,the people of Rivers State has been
vindicated that they were not allowed to Vote by thugs loyal to the PDP here in

Ikegbidi also adviced the APC Governorship candidate in
Rivers State to be focused on his campaign mantra ,not minding the antics of the
Peoples Democratic Party in the state as according to him,there must be a rerun
election in Rivers State and Peterside will emerge winner

Cassidy Ikegbi,a High Chief in Ekpeye Land,was leader and vocal
spokesman for APC members who protested to the INEC Headquaters in Abuja during
the bid up to the April governorship election to call for the transfer of Mrs
Gesilah Khan,the Rivers INEC Rec who was accused of being a compromised umpire
and a tool in the hands of the PDP in Rivers State.
