The Leadership of the All Progressive Congress(APC) in Rivers State has denied Reports credited to PUO REPORTS that the party in Rivers State has abandoned its Leader and former governor of the state Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi in the hand of his enemies.
Recall that yesterday PUO REPORT reported that the party has abandoned it leader in the midst of the controversies,trials,propaganda that has engulfed his Ministerial nomination by President Mohammadu Buhari,the report which was based on the failures of the party leadership to defend a man who assisted most of the APC Leaders in the state,generating mixed reaction among the Party Leaders.
In a statement Released by the party which was rightly signed by Chief (Dr) Davies Ibiamu Ikanya – Chairman, Chief Prince Odike – Deputy Chairma, Chief Emeka Bekee – Secretary, Hon. Abinye Alex-Hart – Treasurer, Barr. Forgiven Amachree – Admin. Secretary,Chris Finebone – Publicity Secretary,Uku Dandison – Organising Secretary and Evangelist Carol Nagbo – Women Leader,the party accused PUO REPORTS of an attempt to misinform the Public
“Firstly, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi remains the leader of the party in the State and at no time have we or would we abandon him so to speak. Having established this fact, it is obvious the ones who fumbled are the editors and publishers of “puoreports” for deliberately peddling falsehood.
