I would have ignored the ignominious and senseless post been circulated on the social media about Wike’s whereabout, not only because I could not careless of where here choses to be or how he lives his life, but also because I know as a fact that when some Nigerians have health challenges especially critical psychological or metal issues they travel overseas to seek medical help and secondly is the fact that the United Kingdom National Crime Agency (NAC) had just arrested and quizzed four other persons alongside Diezani Alison-Madueke, whom they have refused to publicly identify.
I know that these challenges could apply to anyone. I had thought that Wike’s media team should have been more concerned with explaining to Nigerians and indeed Rivers people of the whereabout of Wike, who as a human being could be in a situation where he may be caught up with either of the challenges that I mentioned above rather than try to sweep such serious issues under the carpet by trivializing it.
As I said, I would not have responded to the gibberish painting of Wike as a “superman”, because time will tell better; except that Mr. Wike’s supporter deliberately tried to make insinuation especially of Wike’s ability to compromise the Supreme Court. They tried to mischievously create the impression that I authored the statement which they are circulating, whilst attempting to absolve themselves of tortious liabilities by not put my name.
Although they gave the name of the author as “Achi Wobo/Amaechi’s Henchman”, all those who read the statement sufficiently had the impression that the author refers to me, BUT I AM NOT. It is understandable that they wished they could draw from the credibility and integrity that the name Achi William-Wobodo offers to authenticate and strengthen their rather nebulous position.
I wish to state that that statement is as meaningless as the author and the motive.
Now I am pushed to ask:
WHERE ON EARTH IS WIKE?
WHY HAS HE ABSCONDED HIS DUTY POST WITHOUT EXPLANATIONS TO RIVERS PEOPLE?
IS HE ILL? IS HE SICK?
COULD WIKE BE ONE OF THOSE ARRESTED WITH DIEZANI ALISON-MADUEKE, WHOSE IDENTITY WAS WITHHELD?
