The political tension took a new dimension in River state following a prophetic message released by General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries OPM world wide Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere at the church headquarters Eliozu bye pass in Obiakpor L.G.A of River state.
Promise Uzom Okoro gathered yesterday that the general overseer of the church made the disclosure when the Governorship candidate of Peoples Democratic Party PDP in River State Barr.Nyesom Wike went to the church to thank God for the success of the parties Presidentatial campaign rally which held at Adokiye Amesiamak Stadium in Igwuruta-Ali Portharcourt.
The clergy why receicing Barr.Wike told him to go and celebrate because he is already the Governor of River state,he went further by reminding Governor Amaechi that he will never have peace unless he return the 100 plots of land valued at 270million the Government took from the church in 2007.
Promise Uzoma Okoro gathered that OPM acquired over 500plots of land at ALUU community spanning accross Rukpokwu area of the state,but the state Government under the leadership of Amaechi took 100 plots from the church which will be used for the planned Greater Portharcourt city Development Project in the state. It will be recalled that the said land is located close to the area where Salvation Ministries owned by an Okrika born cleric David Ibiyomie,investigation revealled that although the state Government also took part of Salvation Ministries land,but through the intervention of Hon.Dakuku Peterside who was then commissioner of works in the state and a member of Salvation ministries,the River state Government quickly returned it to salvation ministries.
Promise Uzoma Okoro recalled that during a visit by Amaechi in 2007,the general overseer of the church had told Amaechi to go and take his mandate from Barr.Celestine Omehia who was the governor of the state by that time.
Why thanking the church for their support,the PDP candidate Barr.Wike promised to return the certificate of occupancy take by the state government if elected into office.Prayers as regard to the prophetci declaration by the general overseer lasted for over two hrs.
