Some armed thugs Loya to the PDP candidate in the forthcoming general election in River State yesterday attacked the Paramount Ruler of Akpor Kingdom Eze Oribe Anyaele at his palace in Ozuoba.
Sources from the palace of Eze Oribe told Promise Uzoma Okoro that the attack by the thugs reportedly Loyal to Wike came after the monarch hosted some members of the APC in his palace Yesterday 5th Feb.2015. PUO gathered that the monarch who is an dant supporter of the state Governor Rotimi Amaechi has within the past weeks received series of threats from PDP over his support to the APC led Government in the state.
Akpor Kingdom is made up of communities like Ozuoba,Choba,Rumuigbo.Rumuokwuta which incidentally includes Rumueprikom the home community of PDP candidate in River state Barr.Nyesom Wike.
The state Police command has however condemned the attck to the royal home of Eze Anyaele.
