Abians and Nigerians at large; the sorry and sickening pictures you are seeing are not computer generated pictures but current live pictures of the Broadcasting Cooperation of Abia State BCA under the watch of Governor Theodore Ahamefula Orji who became the governor of Abia State since May 29 2007. BCA is a state owned radio station otherwise known as Ogele Abia State which means the gong of Abia state has been carelessly abandoned and deteriorating to the extent that outside broadcasting OB Van of Ogele Abia State was renamed to “TITTO SHRINE” by Late Chibuzo Ogbonna the former director general.
No doubt; Gov. Orji tries but his performance couldn’t award him pass mark considering that he has received over 800 Billion Naira and invested less than 80 Billion in the state. The areas he tries are in renovating primary and secondary Schools, Building of Ultra Modern government houses, renovate few hospitals and nothing more remarkable. Other areas were totally neglected.
Let’s quickly call your attention that this special report is not in any way trying to malign any of the governorship candidates in Abia state but it would rather cure PDP candidates of their ignorance, who often said that they will build on the Legacy Foundation of Gov. Orji.
This Publication intends to expose the dirty deals pull off in BCA radio under the watch of the so called Legend of Ibeku, the suffering of BCA staffs, how much BCA has lost in the hands of criminals and how funds budgeted for running BCA have been shared by Gov. Orji and his cronies.

We known that Gov. Orji halleluiah boys will raise onslaught against this article but it would be good for them to verify the contents and contest of this article before attacking us. We know that they have been circulating one fake picture as New BCA Bul Nigeria which makes us to wonder where the said build is and if it does exist what stops BCA from relocating there.

We have shown love to Gov. T.A. Orji by voting him in 2007 and 2011 but he paid us back with bad coin by abandoning us and Aba the el dorado of Abia State. That is why we are courageous to be revealing parts of his scorecard to the world at large especially those selling different unmerited awards to him. Now read below what have been happening in BCA from 2007 till now:
Presently BCA is being managed by the following individuals:
Director General Ezemdi titto Ukeka, TV Department: Chikezie Onyeabor. Radio department: Chinkwe Ikenyi. Finance and supplies: Martins Okezie. Commercial: Alozie Ndulaka. News: Uchenna Dike. Engineering: Orji K. Orji. Admin department: Omeremma Nwogbe. PRS department: Theresa Nwankwo. Special Duties: Emma Onyeabor. These men are the people who watch our money being stolen by Gov. Orji and cronnies. They are part of the suffering but for fear of being sacked or attack, they cannot talk.
MONTHLY SUBVENTION AND OTHER FINANCES
The monthly subvention approved by government to use in funding BCA radio is 65 Million Naira but they end up giving 30 Million while 35 Million went into voicemail and black pockets. The 35 Million will share among their cronnies without reaching the Director General Ezemdi titto Ukeka.
Gov. T.A. Orji has spent 94 Months in Office which assumes that he has budgeted 6,110, 000, 000.00 (94 x 65 Million = Six Billion one hundred and ten million naira). Out of this 6.1 Billion Naira, only 2.8 Billion Naira was used in BCA while the remaining 3.3 Billion Naira was stolen, unaccounted or misappropriated by Gov. Orji and his associates.
All the public special announcements (PSAs) reads free, all the campaign jingles played on BCA are PDP jingles and they refuse to play others’ parties jingles. Therefore BCA suffers revenue leakage. The revenue that ought to generate gets diverted to other radio stations. Yet they will not pay the approved subvention.
The corporation is unable to remit tax for some months because their wage bill is above 30 Million. So in other to meet up with payment of salaries, Staffs and pensioners ‘check offs, taxes are not remitted
BCA is being strangulated by the embezzlers of 35 Million out of 65 Million monthly subventions, those who are mostly using it without paying for their campaign jingles and will not allow other parties to bring in theirs for them to meet up with overheads. Revenue generation has dropped to less than 5 Million because jobs are diverted to other stations. So it assumes that BCA has lost over 1.5 Billion Naira incomes in 8 years of Gov. Orji administration because of mismanagement, domineering attitude and interference of Gov. Orji’s family and friends in the business of BCA.
As for salaries, a weigh in allowance approved by FG for RATTAWU staffs which was increased to about 45% has been refused to be paid by the state government. Other states have paid up except Abia. BCA staffs are presently waiting for January salaries in March. About two months ago BCA Staffs went on three days warning strike and for reasons not known to them, the state workers called it off before the three days could be over because some members of the gang among the staffs were threatened.
Hon ACB Agbasuere the commissioner for information is fast giving his command promotion without backing it with increased subvention to carry the new wage bill that will be in effect.
POWER
Huge amount is spent on diesel for a 24 years old generator that has been in use since the inception of the state. This generator is near packing up but kudos to the engineers who are doing some kind of magic to keep the gen on less they get accusation of sabotaging the government. Sometimes the cooperation will use a glorified “I pass my neighbor” generator to work. The pictures that look like Aboki Kitchen where Suya is being roasted is current plant house office. If anyone should say that it is not real, we will provide it as live video. The plant house office got burnt for getting to 1 year and the government does not want to do anything to help BCA with the funds needed to rebuild it and the plant house staff are now having their office under a mango tree beside the plant house.
Transmitter
About transmitter, government went and brought an abandoned analogue transmitter discarded by Akwa Ibom state government and claimed to have spent millions in procuring it. It never lasted for 1 month in use before it was thrown out as obsolete. The contractor who bought this transmitter knew that it has problem and recently he has attempted to be selling the transmitter pass by pass from where it was abandoned.
The 500 Million contracts for BCA announced the other day is what they contracted for digitizing the transmitter. The contract was awarded because Nigeria Broadcasting Cooperation NBC gave June as deadline for all Nigerian broadcasting stations to digitize.
The TV control room is an apology. Former Gov. Orji Uzor Kalu built a studio for BCA but Gov T.A. Orji asked it to be unequipped and abandoned because of the loggerheads he has with Orji Kalu so that the project will not glorify the tenor of Orji Kalu. The OB Van that had been packed for over 4 years has no equipment inside it. It was bought by the state government.
Vehicles
Workers who are on night shift have no vehicle to take them home after work. BCA don’t have official vehicles except two buses and two other rickety Camry. These vehicles are hardly maintained but every month they come up with unscrupulous expense of over a Million Naira of what they spent on the Vehicles.
Finally
BCA is being strangulated by the state government that owns it and PDP out of share negligence at the expense of staff whose take home pay can’t even take home and equipments that are almost as old as the creation of the state. They are muscling the ox that pulls the plow.
The state broadcasting Corporation finds it difficult to pay monthly salary and pensions. Retirees are owed over 100 Million Naira gratuities. The commissioner for information Anthony Agbazuere gave some staff some questionable command promotions without backing it with increased subvention.
Wage bill is over 27 Million while subvention is 30 Million. With this command promotion, it’s going to go over 30 Million and they are not interested in submitting the total budgeted subvention. As it stands now, Feb salary in BCA which will come in April is going to be a problem because of the command promotion.
