If God can have mercy on a former military dictator and a former coupist General Mohammadu Buhari,and allow him scale through the Presidential election that was keenly contested,an election he was an opposition candidate,an election filled with hate campaigns,an election charaterised by war threats,yet the grace was sufficient for Gen.Buhari.
Men and Brethren,the damage done to several institutions in Abia state is too injurious for Abia state to be disconnected from the center,and that is why i am standing by with the fourth man in the furnance,may i humbly present Chief.Chineye Nyere Anyim.
He was seen as a nobody before now,but after the result of the just concluded general elections in Nigeria,people started seeing him as a huge threat,Abians we must not be an opposition state.
Chief. Nyerere Anyim is from Agburuike Isiugwu in Obingwa L.G.A of Abia state,born in the month of April 1960 in Jos,Plateau state to the family of Mrs. And Mrs H.A Anyim.
Chief Anyim is a great scholar of repute with over 40 academic publications to his credit. A certified accountant,member of Nigeria institute of Management,Fellow of the African Business School(ABS) Chartered fraud Examiner and member,Governing Council of CENTER FOR Management.
He is also a philantropist just like his close ally and confidant,Owelle Rochas Okorocha.This accounts to why he was top BOT member of the Rochas Foundation Incorporated. Where he managed the oundation with a good track record.
And considering the emergence of General Buhari who Governor Rochas stood with till the last minute,then Chief Anyim is on his way to make history as the man who was ruled out in the race, to later turn around to be the winner of that race.
Nyerere,s slogan”Liberation” aims at Liberating Abia state from the storms of Poverty,corruption of the PDP led government,backwardness and greed it has experienced within the past 7yrs.
You will believe with me that many political big-weights in Abia state are looking for a safe landing through Governor Rochas Okorocha,we don’t need a prophet to reveal to us that Chief Nyerere’s humble loyalty and relationship will help Abia State to ensure Federal Government attention,unlike the past waisted years where no single Federal Government Project was Commissioned in Abia state,except the Ala-oji power plant built by Sir Emeka Offor which the out-going President came to deceive Abians by way of commissioning a Project,he never built.
We must not let go of this opportunity,because even for equity and fairness,Chief Nyerere’s Senatorial District has not Produced any governor since the history of Abia State.
