Abia State Governor Dr.Okezie Ikpeazu said that the Abia State Work Force is eating almost all the Federal Government Statutory Allocation coming to the State.
Ikpeazu made this known during a meeting with representatives of Landlord Association,Local Governmet Association etc at the Banquette Hall of Government House Umuahia.
“Am pleading with you all,to fish out ghost workers in your various Local Governmet Areas,because the work force of our dear state has eaten up the stutory allocation in the state”
The meeting,PUO REPORTS Gathered also gave the representatives of the Unions Opportunity to ask questions about the ware fare of the Abia state Workers.
Ikpeazu is yet to make public,how much debts the past administration left in the State
It will be recalled that civil servants in the state are yet to receive their over 5 months salaries due to the empty treasury left by immediate past Administration in the state.
