Wike on inspection Tour

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike on Sunday embarked on the inspection of road projects in Port Harcourt, charging contractors to ensure they deliver on schedule.
The governor also inspected ongoing completion work at the Faculty of Law Building at the Rivers State University of Science and Techonology ( RSUST ) .

Inspecting road reconstruction works at Diobu axis, Governor Wike commended the contractor for working diligently on a daily basis.

He expressed satisfaction with the level of work done, assuring that his administration remains committed to a good road network for the state capital.

The governor learnt that the Abuja By Pass will be completed in two days time while the Cherubim road will be completed in one week time.

Hundreds of residents trooped out on the streets to cheer the governor as he embarked on the inspections.

At the Faculty of Law Building in Rivers State University of Science and Techonology, the governor said the quality of work done so far is impressive.

Also on Sunday, Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike attended a Thanksgiving Service held in his honour by the Oro-Ekpo community of Rumuipirikom at the Saint Peters Anglican Church, Rumuipirikom.

Preaching, Venerable Richard Opara prayed God to always guard and protect Governor Wike as he delivers on his campaign promises to the people.

The thanksgiving service was attended by Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Mr Ikunyi Ibani, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Emeka Woke and the Sole Administrator of Greater Port Harcourt Development Authority, Ambassador Desmond Akawor.
