Rivers State Governor Barr.Nyesom Ezenwo Wike is set to dethrone all the traditional rulers,chiefs and elders elevated by the immediate past administration of Rt.Hon.Rotimi Amaechi,following the repealing of the state Traditional Rulers and Chieftain Law No.9 Of 2014.
The Speaker of the Assembly Hon.Ikunyi Igbanyi why briefing Journalist on the succesful reapealing of the Cheiftaincy Law No.9 said that the Governor is now empowere to look into how Amaechi Government promoted some Traditional rulers to 3rd Class Chiefs,2nd Class and 1st Class Chiefs Respectively.
Puo Reports recall that the state Governor Barr.Wike had last Month in portarcourt during a Radio Programmed said that all those who were illegally promoted by Amaechi’s Led Government will be dethrone because it is an insult to the people of the state,citing his Community as a case study,Wike said in Amaechi’s bid to punish him,Amaechi promoted a wrong Chief loyal to him(AMAECHI)
