Our fight against corruption, tyranny, genocide, and occupation continues relentlessly. Today we write to expose a very sad and unfortunate kind of corruption that is currently going on at the Police College, Oji-River, Enugu State.
About 1,000 police officers from different parts of the country were sent to the Police College supposedly for promotion training. This is where the good news ends. The bad news is that; those who are entrusted with conducting the training have decided to pocket the money allocated for the training. There is no feeding arrangement, and every single officer is asked to fork out twelve thousand Naira (N12,00.00) paid to the organisers of the so called promotion training.
No self respecting organisation in Nigeria or anywhere else would organise a promotion training program for its employees and then deny them food or worst still charge them N12,000 for the privilege. Nigeria is changing rapidly. We are at a new dawn. We are reliably informed that his Excellency, PMB, has zero tolerance for corruption. The new Inspector General of Police, Mr. Solomon Arase, needs to get to the bottom of this scandal before the news seeps to his Excellency.
