for awhile now I have been silent in the social space due to my running around from life camp to Apo and environs of Abuja. Abuja has now become the battle ground between darkness and light for the greater together of future Rivers state,and I’m yet to see darkness rule over light.
I can’t phantom how a competent elections tribunal will give an order twice,INEC in conjunction with PDP in Rivers state will ignore that order on the flimsy excuse that APC doesn’t have the right to inspect materials, because that will be breaking into the privacy of Rivers electorates,which for me is total rubbish because the electoral acts states otherwise.
Please can a very unbiased mind tell me why PDP in Rivers state has turned out to be the spokes mercenary of INEC in Rivers state,What’s the connection so far?
After refusing APC the right to inspect materials in Rivers state twice on the order of the court,APC lead legal team Mr. Olujinmi SAN raised a motion for the court to order INEC to bring the materials to Abuja with immediate effect,but Ukala SAN who I reliably got info about to be a master of delay tactics,started barking in court asking for more 7days to respond to the serving of Mr.Olujinmi which was delayed by the Sallah holidays,which was backed up by Ikpeazu SAN and Adedipe SAN both of INEC. And the judge Pindiga concurred to the prayer of Ukala SAN which makes the 7days to elapse today.
I got a reliable information that the PDP and INEC legal team are planning to stage a walk out of the tribunal if the ruling on Wednesday on Eligibility of Candidate and the order to INEC to bring elections material to abuja goes in favour of APC,which to them is in protest that the judge has been bought over by the APC ,thereby asking the CJN to replace him with immediate effect,Which is why the CTC gomina of Rivers state is running from pillar to post in Abuja seeking for a way to pocket the CJN via the help of Mrs.Mary Odili a supreme court judge,which to me I feel the antics has become a herculean task to actualize,because every attempt to get to the judges of the elections tribunal to bribe them has failed.
As I will always say it,brace up yourselves for full drama this week in the battle ground of the Rivers state gubernatorial elections tribunals sitting in Apo of Abuja in Nigeria.
