BREAKING: Registrar Of Rivers State Customary Court Of Apeal Has Been Demoted By Wike

The Chief Registrar of the Rivers State Customary Court Of Appeal Mr.Steven Jumbo has been demoted by the Chief Judge of Rivers State Justice Daisy Okocha in a controversial circumstance,PUO REPORTS Learnt.

Mr.Steven Jumbo who occupied that position from the Administration of former Governor of Rivers State Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi was demoted from the highest position to a lower one to ensure he was punished for being loyal to the Past Administration.

Recall that,there have been a tussle between Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and the Governor Of Rivers State Barr.Nyesom Wike over the appointment a Chief Judge For Rivers State,while Amaechi nominated Justice PNC Agumagu for the position,Wike through the instrumentality of the National Judicial Commsion nominated Justice Daisy Okocha,a sister of Former National President Of NBA and a loyalist of Wike Barr.OCJ Okocha.

During the swearing in of Governor Nyesom Wike on MAY 29 2015,he announced the appointment of Justice DAISAY Okocha as the Acting Chief Judge for Rivers State,her tenure was renewd last Month by the Chief Justice of Nigeria.

There are palpable fears among Judiciary workers in the state,as those perceived to have close ties with Justice PNC Agumagu are being posted out from Portharcourt to a timid Villiage by the Chief Judge of the state Justice Daisy Okocha
