In What many Believed To be a special militia Group set up exclusively to help rig the Governorship election in favour of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP),Bayelsa state Governor Henry Seriake Dickson Monday Inaugurated a Security Volunteer Group to help curb security in their various communities

According to a Government House Source who revealed to PUO REPORTS the real intention of the Governor,The Militia Group was mandated liaise with the Coordinator of the scheme, Chief Superintendent of Police, Mr. Emmanuel Asufi Idowu or its secretary, who doubles as Special Adviser to Governor Dickson on Youths, Mr. Felix Bonny Ayah .
Describing the volunteers as ambassadors of the Restoration Government, Governor Dickson gave them kudos for their loyalty, steadfastness and peaceful disposition, which he noted, was largely responsible for the stability in the state so far.

“I know that you carried a rigorous recruitment process out of which you have selected 3000 youths who are localized in their communities. Let me use this opportunity to state the sole purpose for this scheme, which is for the empowerment of youths. It is also meant to give welfare support for youths until they find their feet.
“From this volunteer scheme, we expect you to rise up and become entrepreneurs; set up your own business with our support. From this scheme, we expect you will grow and find other useful jobs to grow and once you get that done, others will take your place.” He stated.
However investigations by PUO REPORTS revealed that the Governor sensing that the Bayelsa Security Services may not work on his favour,then the need to recruit militias and ex-militants is now inevitable.
PUO REPORTS also gathered that this Militias were First asked to renounce their various cult groups, they were Later formed into a para military group and finally the Bayelsa state Government engaged them into a community militias few Months to the Governorship Election in the state
