Rivers State governor Nyesom wike has Appealed the judgement of Justice Suleiman Mohammed Ambrosa three member Rivers State governorship election tribunal panel panel which nullified the April 11 governorship election in Rivers State.
In his appeal to the Court Of Appeal Sitting in ABUJA,governor Nyesom Wike is praying the court to set aside the ruling of the lower court which ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conduct a fresh election within 90days in Rivers State.
The 25 grounds of Appeal filled before the Appellate court is seeking a declaration that Justice Suleiman Ambrosa erred in his Judgement, when he nullified the rivers State governorship election on grounds that the card readers which were mandated to be used by the electoral body,ought not to have been neglected.
No date has been fixed by the Appeal Court for Judgement.
