Not fewer that 100 Ministers of the gospel spanning accross different denomination within and Outside Uyo on Tuesday 10th November 2015 at the Le Meridien Ibom Hotel Resort prayed for the Governor of Akwa Ibom State Udom Emmanuel,and against any spirit that will lead to a rerun election in the State.
The Prayer which was organised by The Akwa Ibom Ministers Dakkada Prayer Forum and sponsored by the Akwa Ibom state government with the THEME: This Fire Must Not Quench” saw Ministers of the gospel enmass on Tuesday who graced the venue of the event
It will be recalled that the Akwa Ibom state governorship election Tribunal had annuled 18 out of the 32 Local Government Areas where the April Governorship election held,and ordered for a rerun within 90days.
Although the governor has Appealed the Judgement of the Tribunal,but there are fears in some quaters in Akwa Ibom state that the Appeal may be struck out based on huge evidence that the April 11th governorship election in Akwa Ibom state was marred by violence
