The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate of the Kogi State governorship election, Alhaji Abubakar Audu who was leading in the election, is dead.
He died Sunday afternoon from what was believed to be a cardiac arrest. Sources said he started vomiting blood and could not be rescurcitated.
It is not certain if he gave up the ghost before the election was declared inconclusive by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the state or after the declaration.
He will be buried tomorrow in accordance with Islamic Rights
