Appeal court Witholds True Copies Of Judgement From Wike

The Court of Appeal has withold the True Copies Of its December 16 Judgement on the Appeal Filed by governor Nyesom Wike against the judgement of the Rivers State Governorship election petition tribunal which nullified the April 11 Governorship election in Rivers State.

A five-member panel of Nigeria’s Court of Appeal Justices presided over by Justice Dougban Memsen had Tuesday upheld the Judgement of the Rivers State Governorship election petition tribunal which ordered INEC to conduct a fresh election in Rivers State within 90days.

Despite the assurance by the presiding judge that Copies Of the 101 Pages Judgement will be made available to all parties involved, the Court is yet to release the Copies Of the judgement to Governor Nyesom Wike to study and take further action.

Governor Nyesom Wike has only 14days to Appeal the Judgement at the Supreme Court, but the Court of Appeal is yet to release the Copies almost 4days out of the 14days permitted by law.
