Christmas : Always advance the cause of peace, Rivers First Lady advises Christians

Wife of Rivers State Governor,  Justice  (Mrs) Suzzette Nyesom-Wike has called  on Christians  to  always  advance  the cause of peace and  friendship with a view to enhancing societal  growth. 

Speaking  on Christmas Day when she led female government  functionaries  and wives of top government  officials  to visit Christmas Babies and other patients  at the Braithwaite Memorial Specialist  Hospital,  Justice Suzzette Nyesom-Wike said  the Christmas period promotes love,  peace and unity among the people. 
She said the birth of  Jesus Christ represents the  highest level of love of God for humanity.  The wife of the governor said it is  imperative  that all Christians  emulate  the  qualities of Jesus Christ. 
Justice Nyesom-Wike charged the people of the state to always to live for their neighbours  for the required peace for development  
She said that her visit to the hospital  was to celebrate Children  born on  Christmas  Day,  congratulate their mothers and also encourage  other patients  at the hospital.
“I am happy that we have our Christmas  Babies.  I am happy that the three mothers delivered their  babies safely. These babies represent the future and God’s  miracle  to mankind”, she said.

The Governor’s wife prayed that the Christmas Babies will grow  up  to be a blessing  to  their families  and  the society. 
Highpoint  of the visit was the presentation of gifts to the  mothers of the  Christmas Babies  and  other  patients  in the hospital  by the wife of  the  Rivers State Governor. 
In her response,  Mother of one of the Christmas Babies,  Mrs Faith Ezekiel thanked the  Wife of the governor  for her commitment to the welfare  of the less privileged.

Also speaking,  Medical Director  of  Braithwaite Memorial Specialist 
Hospital, Dr Paul Ledee Kwa commended the Wike administration  for placing  premium on quality healthcare delivery.
